Welcome to the Dachshund Library Video Game Celebration 2017
Dachshund Library's Digital Media Commons will celebrate the American Library Association's International Games Week. However, instead of the scheduled week of October 29-November 4, the library will celebrate Every Saturday in October and the first Saturday in November. The dates are October 7, 14, 21, 28, and November 4. Interested in joining in the fun? Then continue reading!
Do you like to play video games? How about your children or your parents? If you answered yes to either of these questions then you are invited to participate in Dachshund Library's celebration of video games.
These video game events are FREE to library patrons with a Dachshund Library card. The sessions are broken up into three age groups: children, teens, and adults. Click on the above links to find out which age group you belong to and the games and systems for each date. There is also an overall description of each game. The age rating is set by the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB).
Interested? Check the Q&A tab and the Rules tab before signing up!
Curious why the library is having a video game event? Click on the Why Video Games? Tab.
You will need to sign up for each date. Space is limited.
You can sign up yourself and/or your child by contacting the Media Specialist Librarian by telephone or email.
