Q: Do I have to be an expert gamer to participate?
A: No. We encourage everyone to participate no matter your skill level.
Q: Do I need to sign up for this program?
A: Yes, space is limited.
Q: What if I signed up and can not make it?
A: Contact Ms. Molly Wienerdog.
Q: Is there a waiting list?
A: Yes, however the list is limited to 5 people. You will be contacted via telephone call when an empty slot is available.
Q: Who can sign up?
A: Anyone who has a Dachshund Library card and is in good standings with the library.
Q: What does good standings with the library mean?
A: You must not have any library fines over $5.00 and/or have any overdue library books or DVDs.
Q: Will refreshments be served?
A: The game sessions will take a 15 minute break after one hour to offer light refreshment for free to video game participants.
Q: Will my video game progress be saved?
A: No. You not be able to save or log into your personal video game accounts.
Q: Can I bring my own video games?
A: No. each video game session has a preset game. The games will be based on popularity and library supply. See your age group tab to find out what games and video game hardware will be used on each date.
Q: Can I bring my own controllers?
A: No. The library will be using the standard controllers that come with the PS2, PS3, XBOX, and the Wii motion controller and nunchuck. The extra controllers for multiplayer games will be the standard replacement controllers.
